Who is Marley Penagos?

Hi! I'm Marley, thank you for stopping by my website. 

I am a recent graduate of Pepperdine University, with a Bachelor's degree in journalism and an outside concentration in political science.

My work spans across the spectrum of journalism, from traditional print and broadcast news to long-form magazine content and graphic design. But the central theme of all of my work and my life's mission — storytelling. 

Before beginning my journalism career, I worked as a creative writer for a boutique marketing agency for over 4 years and before that, I wrote short stories and created characters as soon as I could hold a pencil. 

With multiple Associated Collegiate Press and California College Media awards, I am proud to say that I served the Pepperdine and Malibu communities as a storyteller and journalist in my time there. 

My most recent work was at Modern Luxury's Gotham Magazine, where I completed a digital editorial internship. I currently work as an Editorial Intern for Boston Magazine, where I am writing and reporting on the daily happenings of Boston on the daily.
